I felt like I didn't do this book justice so I am going to attempt writing another review.
I read this in [b:Arcanum Unbounded: The Cosmere Collection|28595941|Arcanum Unbounded The Cosmere Collection|Brandon Sanderson|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1466536615s/28595941.jpg|48765829]. And I would give it a solid 4.5 stars.
This book is special in a lot of different ways. We get to see things that were going on behind the scenes for the original trilogy of Mistborn. That in itself sounds boring, but trust me that this is anything but. We finally get a bigger look at the Cosmere which is super appeasing. You can tell without a doubt that Sanderson knows what he is doing when it comes to the bigger picture of the whole Cosmere, and it's an exciting endeavor that I can't wait to learn more about. Kelsier got to That was pretty flipping exciting for me!
I love Kelsier. He is one of my favorite characters ever. So anything I get with him is a treat to me. I will gladly read any story that features him. And I hope someday we get to learn more about him and Gemmell. I'm not gonna lie, I was brought to tears when It was a super special moment to me and that, along with the ending, is what took this book from a 3.5 to a 4.5. Also Sanderson's postscript in this volume was a lot of fun to read :)
This wasn't some super awesome, best book ever, won't be able to stop talking about it book. But it is an important book and one that you definitely need to read if you are interested in learning some succulent tidbits about the Cosmere.

Yeeessssss!!!! Kelsier!!!!!! I feel so spoiled to have another story with him in it. This book was a lot of fun for me to read. Just another feather in Sanderson's genius cap. He has things thought out for his stories that make me feel like I could never be an author. The foresight is amazing. After reading this I really want to go read the original trilogy again to see if I could pick up on the clues.
Just give me more please!

That was a little disjointed, and I needed to have read Mistborn more recently to draw all the connections and I'm still a little confused about the ending, but it was fantastic!
