“Our profit-driven society relies on economic growth, and the climate crisis will make some areas far more conducive to growth than others.”

“The perpetual motion machine of capitalism will need to look somewhere else, somewhere less exposed to environmental risk and better positioned to expand as the years go on.”

You’re really not addressing the elephant in the room of this whole book, are you Mr. Bittle? But otherwise, an excellent collection of real stories and predictions.

The style of writing of this book made it an easy read on a difficult subject.  I learned a lot, and feel like this book would be especially valuable to someone thinking about buying their first home or moving.

I would recommend this book to everyone! Especially anyone who is going to buy or sell property or move in the US and/or who wants to learn more about how climate change is reshaping the geography of the US and the world. Although the subject matter is depressing, the writing and stories are so engaging that it was easy to get through. The audiobook narrator was great.
