This story is so heart-wrenching because of the reality that these things actually happen!
Twists and turns of life take place that leave you reeling and almost wanting more and more!
Truly heartbreaking but a feel good story in the end.
I have no words for what I thought about this book because it is truly unique.

“There are a lot of children in Afghanistan, but little childhood.”

I will rate it above average. Considering all the hype around the book it didn't live up to my expectations.

Frankly, I can't even imagine the turmoils people living in Afghanistan witnessed and still experience.

Hard to believe we live in the 21st century where wars and civil wars are still prominent.

Hope things go back to normal in Afghanistan soon.
