Feel like all of Alexa Martin's romance books just pack an emotional punch. Can I say how much I love the MC and even though she forgave TK quite quickly, I came round to them as a pairing. This book contains one of my favourite tropes - former flames reconnecting/childhood sweethearts.
Would recommend the series. Do you have to read book 1? No, these are companion books occurring within the same universe. However, there are some nice references to events that occurred in book 1 which would be spoiled mildly.

Very fun. Liked having a romance where the conflict is less about the issues of the main characters but rather a third party (in this case a baby) and how it impacts the romance.
These are getting better as the series go on! Cant wait for the first to turn to series (tv)
