This was a fantastic sequel. I love the way characters are fleshed out. And I love the way drama unfolds in this book. So often with romances there is a predictable formula, and it was great that this one stepped away from some of that. Can’t wait for book three!
Not as laugh-out-loud funny as Intercepted, Fumbled is more serious, but still full of heart. I was a big fan of TK before, but when he showed up in this book I wasn’t sure if I would like him. Obviously, that changed once I understood him. I love the way they became such a happy little family. It probably happened way too easily though. And the thing with the flowers was anticlimactic and pointless. I guess I expected there to be more drama. I’m not disappointed though because Poppy & TK & Ace are super sweet together. And TK did the right thing in the end, so I’m definitely a fan again.
I will be honest, Intercepted wasn’t my favorite, but a friend told me she loved this series so I went and grabbed the rest from the library!
I enjoyed this one so much! This is a second chance romance, as Poppy and TK, high school sweethearts, reunite after nearly a decade! Poppy wasn’t prepared to see TK...and now she has to tell him the truth, that she had his baby 9 years ago!
How will he respond? Will Poppy be able to handle TK’s fame? Will they be able to become the family they used to dream about?
This book also discussed CTE and repeated concussions, so it had a bit of a serious thread.
Overall I really enjoyed this one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Looking forward to Brynn’s book!

3.5 stars. I despised their (re)meet cute and the start of their relationship, but developed a lot of love for the story and the couple as it went on.
I love reading a book that is set in the same city that I live in! So many great Denver references!

Cute story that got me out of an audiobook slump. The narrator was great and was enjoyable to listen to. I didn't read the first book in this story first but I didn't feel like I was missing anything. The love story was interesting and cute. I appreciated the deeper discussion about football injuries and the lifelong implications of those things. It was fine. Not a new favorite but I'm interested in more from the series.

I've learned so much about football, football WAGS (wives and girlfriends) and CTE. This series was very well written and I really like how CTE was brought up in every book and we learn about just how serious this is how it affects the lives of those in football and their families.

the whole time i was reading this, i just kept thinking about how different the world looked when i read the first book in this series in 2018. i showed my entire face to the world every day, tr*mp was president, and i was in DC with my two best friends because we were allowed to travel.
