This is the story of Poppy and TK's second chance romance. Poppy is a single mother making it by being a great waitress at a men's club (women can go, but it is mostly men coming to watch aerialists perform. TK Moore is a beloved football player for Denver's Mustangs (a fictional professional football team).

I enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to more books in the series. The female friendships are by far my favorite part of this book series. The women (well some of them) are there for each other, build each other up and generally the funniest part of the story.

I recommend this book if you are looking for a quick read on summer vacation or spending time reading by the pool or in the park.

3.5 I would say, I had a lot of fun with this one cause secret child + second chance romance are the best tropes ever but unfortunately it was yet another swirl couple :(

hated the first one in the series

I wanted to love the book. Don't get me wrong I did like the book but I didn't love it as much as I loved Intercepted. But I love the realist of the book.

Second chance, single mom sports romance? Sign me up. I loved Poppy and TK so much - definitely better than the first book.

Where was the groveling? The on his knees begging her to take him back because she was right? The drama with the mother in law? Hell, what kind of stupid ending was that for the mysterious flowers? It was cleared up in like 3 lines? Her thighs got more page time.
