I enjoyed this even more than Intercepted, and I am so excited so see this series continue!
Poppy was a narrator I loved following. While I had like Marlee in Intercepted, her continuous use of hashtags did get a little bit irritating. Poppy had a good backstory, a cute kid, and a believable hesitation about (re)entering into a relationship. Within the first few chapters, I felt like I really "knew" her and was excited to follow her.
My only real complaint is how quick paced some of the story seemed. Conflicts were resolved quickly and a lot of character backstory was glossed over as well. I understand that the focus was on the current day and the happy ending, but I wanted more because I found myself interested in the characters and their motivations.

Loved this. Thought the ending was a tad rushed. Especially where Ace was concerned. But absolutely adored TK and Poppy.
[I received an electronic review copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.]
Loved this story of real life, romance and football. Just as good as Intercepted. In this one, Poppy, the protagonist, is strong and sassy - she knows who she is and what is important. And TK can either get on board or walk away. I loved her strength. And the circle of support she builds is a treat, too. Don't miss this series! (Language, sex)

Fun, cute romance! You do NOT need to like football to enjoy this book, but I wish football was a bigger point in the story. I didn’t connect with the characters the same way I did with Intercepted - the back story was not as detailed (surprising, given they were high school sweethearts who had a child together). Overall, I really enjoyed the story and it was perfect timing for me, as I needed something fun and light!
