I started off thinking this book was much better than the first, and Donatella was a much more likeable FMC.
I enjoyed a lot of the plot points, but it did feel like there was too much going on at one point, and too many ifs and buts.
Loved the idea of Fates and Jacks, but I feel like the reveal would’ve been better later on, and the Legend reveal felt a bit lacklustre in the end.
Starting to kinda grasp what I do and don’t like in YA books, as there’s a line between YA feeling childish and not, and this is on the borderline for me.
Will be happy to continue and finish this series, but I may need a YA break before starting OUABH.
