Accidentally bought the second book from the series instead of the first (Grave Sight) because none of Charlaine Harris' books are numbered. The main characters are generally likeable, real, and witty, but somehow the plot felt a little flat to me. Something was missing, y'know?
Though it's a great escape from denser novels and the pacing was fantastic. Kept me interested enough to read over 3 days.

Was okay. I accidently read this before the 1st so eventually will the beginning of the series
Kind of predictable... I don't like Harper as much as I like Sookie in the Southern Vampire books (see below). I also think there's a little too much of a "this could turn to incest" vibe between Harper and Tolliver.
