Oh dear, another review I forgot to write.

I enjoyed Ruth's personality, I enjoyed the mystery. That's already good, ain't it ?
But Ruth's love life... not so much. And the ending ? I saw it coming a mile away - believe me, I wasn't looking hard.

I expected a more... serious novel, so to speak. Not that it was awfully funny, I just thought it lacked in maturity. Yet it was apparently Elly Griffiths' first novel, so I'll probably give the next Ruth Galloway a try.
