DID NOT FINISH: 40%

To be completely honest, I watched the AMC TV show and couldn't quite separate the characterizations of Louis and Lestat from the show to fully enjoy this. I appreciate Rice as an author and am glad to see her work enjoyed by so many.

1. main vampire was so insufferable and contradictory 
2. pedophilia undertones on every page 
3. officially DNF’d after the vampire theater scene (jail!!!!!)

DNF I couldn't finish the book. Tbh I didn't really start it either. It's more me not the book. I found it hard to read due to how Anne rice writes. I didn't know what was real or fiction and it really confused me as well as how small the print was made it hard for me to concentrate and read it
