2.5 so I was concerned when I learnt this book was about Castle because even though I liked him as a brother figure I didn’t really think I’d care for him as a hero. I was correct.

He was an annoying asshole for most of this book and treated Callie like shit because he couldn’t make up his damn mind about her. And because Callie was a desperate, whiny loser she took all of his shit and kept going back! How embarrassing!

I still enjoy Jagger Cole’s writing, plots and the characters in this series so hopefully the next book is better!

STOLEN HEARTS

Dark Hearts #5
Arc Review
Troupes:
Age Gap
V!rgin FMC
Mafia
Protector
Fake marriage

Stolen Hearts is a Hot and spicy read. I read book 4 in the series, and I loved it. Stolen Hearts can be read as a standalone, but I think the characters in these books are so interesting, reading the previous books is something I will be doing.
Castle and Callie’s story was even better, especially if you like some good spice in your books.
Callie was promised a Ruthless Don when she turns 21. That date is approaching Quickly
Because of that Callie decides to take a chance on her crush Castle and steals a Kiss!
Circumstances push Callie and Castle together. Castle has rules for when they are together.
Can either of them follow the rules? You will just need to read the book to find out.
I love these two characters, The age difference is great, the spice was amazing! Talk about hot and bothered!
The tensions between the characters keep you turning the pages to see what will come of it.
This is my second Jagger Cole book, and it did not disappoint!
All the characters are amazing and intriguing! There is never a dull moment!
I recommend this series to all my friends who like Mafia and some amazing spice!

I have loved Castle and was curious about his story since we met him back in book one, and Jagger did not disappoint because this book certainly delivered! It had all of our favourite characters, sizzling chemistry and tension, a plot that kept me invested and a whole lot of spice.

Callie may have just topped my favourite FMCs. She’s strong, feisty and completely unapologetically herself. I loved how despite Castle constantly brushing her off attempting to do the “right thing” she never let him push her away, her want and love for him never wavered. He felt like he was too dark and broken inside to love her or be loved, and my heart broke for him. But not even his rules stood a chance against the chemistry between them, and once he realised, all bets were off and once he finally gave in?

Okay soooo I really wasn’t that interested to read Castle’s and Callie’s story. I always felt like they were great supporting characters, but I just didn’t really care for their story. That might be due to not being so into the best friend brother trope.

The first 80% of this book was going to get a 3/5 ⭐️ from me. It had its moments, but I just a little bit of hard time caring too much for the characters. That may be due, because I just wanted to read this, so I could read Deimos’s story. But yeah, the first 80% had its moments. I found myself sometimes rooting for Callie, and being annoyed at both main characters.

BUTTT, that last 20% is what got me to give it a 4/5⭐️. The plot twist, was twisting. I didn’t really suspect Megan too much, up until the call about her posting. But!!! I NEVER saw the Jeremy twist. Like that was wild to me.

Overall, I had my moments with this book. Feel like I went on a ride of emotions. Not my favorite of the series, but a good read.

This was simply amazing.

Another Smash Hit!

Note: this is the 5th book in the series. It can be read as a standalone but seriously do not deprive yourself of the other amazing books in this series!

At first I was skeptical about the pairing of Castle and Callie, I didn’t really think anything about them as a couple from previous books so had concerns about their chemistry. I’ve been converted and will ship them always!

These two have explosive chemistry and a deep bond built from respect. They are absolutely fantastic together! The characters both have deep pain, and learn how to grow and thrive together. They had great development together!

This story was fast paced, slow burn and full of twists! The banter was fun, the heroine’s sass was great, and the hero’s possessive alphaness was hot!

This book features best-friend’s-brother / friends to lovers/ forbidden love vibes with a dash of forced proximity and fake marriage. The latter tropes are true to style for the series but never grow old! It suited perfectly here, and this book is sweet and sultry all at once.

A definite must read!
