Finally Castles book! Enjoyed it but not as much as the others.
Holy freaking hotness!!!! Castle is hard-core possessive alpha dominate and Callie is a strong willed smart submissive. These two are so amazing together. If you have read the other books, you will be happy to see cameos of some of our favs and some more in depth interactions with some vaguely mentioned family members. As always Jagger has a way with descriptions that make you feel like your part of the story. Some obvious outcomes and some curve balls that make you wonder till the end. Definitely worth the buy if you love some steamy dominate/submissive story lines.

Stolen Hearts is the fifth book in the Dark Hearts series, but it can be read as a standalone.
Callie has been crushing on Castle for a long time. He’s twelve years older, her best friend’s older brother, and a ruthless unaliver. One day, she kisses him, and he kisses her back before he realizes what he’s doing. Then he pushes her away.
But after certain events unfold, Callie needs to get married to “save” Callie from being forced into marriage with someone else. Castle agrees to marry her, but he sets rules for her – he will not touch her.
Castle continuously pushes Callie away, despite what he truly feels for her. But after other things happen, Castle just can’t keep his hands off of her.
Callie really irritated me. She was pining over Castle and constantly threw herself at him, even though he was always telling her no. And yet, Callie kept trying to get his attention, and showed her jealousy after she snooped through his phone.
Castle was very OTT protective and possessive over Callie. He had been a bodyguard, so it’s cemented in his brain to keep those he loves safe. I didn’t like how he was constantly rejecting Callie, but then he would get jealous when Callie talked to other guys. He was sending her mixed signals, and his rejections weren’t very kind either.
While I didn’t love the characters, I did enjoy the story. It was action-packed and full of plot twists. And the spicy scenes were HOT. That’s something Jagger Cole never fails to deliver.
I can’t wait for the next book, because the ending of this book left me with questions.
Tropes:
Age gap (12 years)
Best friend’s older brother
Mafia romance
Marriage of convenience
Over the top jealous/possessive hero
