I’m SO sad to say that I just couldn’t connect with the main characters; between the mmc rejecting the fmc multiple times already (doing so quite meanly & like 4 times @ 30%) and the fmc’s personality just wasn’t for me. I have loved every other JC book I’ve read and bummed this one wasn’t it for me.
I have to say that I am thoroughly enjoying this series. Each book is just great. This book gives us Callie and Castle. This is an age gap, and I’m not really into those at the moment. Maybe one day I will come back and read it again and seriously enjoy it!!!

DNF at 64%. I have enjoyed most of this series but I really can’t stand Callie. Castle in the other books is OK, but in this one he’s just skeevy. The whole mouthy brat thing is just gross, and there’s waaaaaay too much baby girl/daddy talk. By the third time she said “I’m a big girl” I was done. There is nothing sexy about grown women acting like children.
