While the overarching plot/plot twist reveal were interesting, and I'm glad for the happy ending, I think the motive behind it all was super weak and not 8 books worthy

putting all the insane answers we got aside for a bit, can we please take a moment to appreciate the true slowburn (man, 8 books) that was kairene? I'll never be over the fact they went from "you're not my type" to "it's not your body. it's your soul. your heart."
