Fae pirates, sirens, magic?! Say less. That was an exhilarating journey with a massive cliffhanger ending, but thankfully I have the next book ready to go!

Good balance of plot, character focus and shut. It was a hit for me but the the broken perfect boy might be too much for some people. There was a scene where he wants her to love him, but he refused to tell her good things he's done and the trope was kinda extream.

So good! Had my toes curling during them spicy scenes XD
I really enjoyed The Ever King! The world building was rich and immersive, the characters were well-developed, and the magic system kept me intrigued throughout. While the pacing slowed down a bit in some parts and there were fewer spicy scenes than I expected, the overall story was captivating and worth the read. Definitely excited to continue with the series!
I devoured this book! I’m a sucker for a Pirate story or a Fae story, so put the two together and I’m in heaven. Minimal spice, but that’s to be expected from the first book in a series. I really enjoyed the banter between the characters and loved how I felt like I had an understanding of their motives. That’s not always easy to accomplish. The way it ended, I’m so glad I get to jump right into book 2!
