It was okay. I think the narration wasn't a great fit for me and I didn't physically read it. I may have had a different experience reading it but I'm not sure. I really didn't care for the characters very much. Solid writing but perhaps it's just not my type of book. 3.5 stars

Why did I sleep on this book for so long? I loved every second. It grabbed me from the very start—Viking pirate fae are now officially my new obsession. The magic system is fascinating, the lore is rich, and the love story? Epic. By the end, it shocked the shit out of me more than once, and I am living for it.
It was slow at first and then I couldn't put it down. The cliffhanger is killing me though and I'll probably need to start the next one right away.
