Cute at times. Surprisingly funny at others. But for some reason, it felt a little...wrong. I think I couldn’t stop thinking of Ellie as being that carefree 17 year old. So it seemed a little off somehow.
But Logan is delicious. And I liked hearing the way his mind thinks.
I really enjoyed this series. I appreciate how the writer presents the characters. But since this was an audio book, I loved the voices of Andi Arndt and Shane East. Will definitely read more from the author.

3.5 stars. I had heard that this book was really good, but I was disappointed. I liked it, but didn't love it. This is Logan and Ellie's story. Ellie is the younger sister to the woman dating/engaged/married to one of the Princes of Wesco. Logan is hired as one of her security guards. He guards her over the years and they grow close from spending a lot of time together. They fall for each other, but the road to their HEA isn't easy.
I liked the cute, fairy-tale-esque story here, but the way it was told made it hard for me to connect. Ellie is in high school when she meets him. Her and Logan's relationship develops over the course of years so there was a bunch of time jumps, which resulted in plot holes and skimmed details. Because of how much of the story is told, instead of shown, this was just a surface read. There was too much story crammed into the book. It had potential for depth, but never went below the surface. I liked Ellie and Logan in general. I was entertained by the book, but I didn't feel a connection to the story and it didn't provoke any feelings from me as a reader. I am not sure if I will go back and read the other books from this series, as I'm not sure if this author's writing works for my taste.
