I adore this series! There something about these characters that makes me want more books! There’s a lot more time jumps in this narrative but worked for the storyline - going back to the start of the first book Royally Screwed and beyond to the wonderful ever after. I adore being able to see what’s happened to the couples we feel in love with in the pervious books.
I gave this book two stars instead of one because I actually finished it. Although the only reason I finished it was because I listened to it on tape and the prologue was intriguing enough to make me want to know how it ended. Turns out the ending was just as boring at the book. This was not a romance. There was nothing romantic about what the two main characters felt about each other. They felt lust and that was the sum total of their "connection". It's all they mentioned for 5 years, how much they wanted to get into each other's pants. Over and over again. While using lots of profanity. How romantic. And so much profanity. Pretty much every other sentence. Apparently the author thinks if a person uses the F word over and over again everything is so much more passionate. "I f@$%ing love you" is so much more romantic that "I love you". My husband must not love me enough since he has never said that to me. Although he knows if he told me that we would have words. They even talk about the "F@$%ing babies" but in a positive way. Saying the F word before every noun or verb means you really like something in this author's mind. This is the first and last book I will ever read by her. Oh, and there are dead puppies in this book. Maybe I should only give it one star.

Not my favorite of the companion stories, mostly because I feel a lot of page time was given over to granting closure to the previous two stories so we had less time to focus on the main pairing of Logan and Ellie, plus the time jumps were a bit jarring, but still a fun edition to the series!

What I do know, what I'm sure of, is that I would die for Ellie. Kill for her, live for her.
Logan St. James is a smoldering, sexy beast. Sure, he can be a little broody at times--but Ellie Hammond's willing to overlook that. Because, have you seen him?
Sexy. As. Hell.
And Ellie's perky enough for both of them. For years, she's had a crush on the intense, gorgeous royal security guard--but she doesn't think he ever saw her, not really.
To Logan, Ellie was just part of the job--a relative of the royal family he'd sworn to protect. Now, at 22 years old and fresh out of college, she's determined to put aside her X-rated dreams of pat-downs and pillow talk, and find a real life happily ever after.
The Queen of Wessco encourages Ellie to follow in her sister's footsteps and settle down with a prince of her own. Or a duke, a marquis...a viscount would also do nicely.
But in the pursuit of a fairytale ending, Ellie learns that the sweetest crushes can be the hardest to let go.
Logan St. James grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, in a family on the wrong side of the law. But these days, he covers his tattoos and scars with a respectable suit. He's handsome, loyal, brave, skilled with his hands and...other body parts.
Any woman would be proud to call him hers. But there's only one woman he wants.
For years he's watched over her, protected her, held her hair back when she was sick, taught her how to throw a punch, and spot a liar. He dreams of her. Would lay down his life for her. But beautiful Ellie Hammond's off-limits.
Everybody know the bodyguard rules: Never lose focus, never let them out of your sight, and never, ever fall in love.
This was a cute read. Quick too, but still really cute and enjoyable.
I loved seeing Ellie and Logan's relationship as it developed over the years. And I also loved seeing how their relationship developed alongside both Olivia and Nicholas's as well as Sarah and Henry's.
I really disliked the Queen. I'm sorry, but she just pissed me off. She'd kind of ticked me off back in Royally Screwed, but at the same time I was like, well, but she is the queen and she's trying to make sure that her country stays together. But then there's the fact that she first of all not only didn't like that Ellie's name was Ellie, but refused to call her by her name, instead, giving her one that she thought was "more appropriate" or something. Didn't like that. Then the fact that she flat-out, to Ellie's face told her that by choosing Logan, she was settling just really made me mad. She softened just a little in my opinion when the twins arrived, but only slightly.
Ellie and Logan were just great together. Although I did get frustrated with them individually at certain points (Logan kind of taking to heart what the Queen said, although I think that reaction was more fear/shock than anything; Ellie for trying to yell at Nicholas after Logan told him about the two of them
Spoiler
I mean, Marlow may have just been flirting, but she was right about the whole Costner thing--they were bodyguards and really that's one of the big "unspoken"/do it or else rules: You don't get involved with your charge. I mean not only from a professional stand point, but a personal one too. Like Nicholas points out, if Logan was on guard duty, supposed to be watching Olivia for example, but things went south, especially if Ellie was there too, his first thought wouldn't be Olivia, it would be Ellie. And although Nicholas is fully supportive of Logan and Ellie he's also smart and knows better than to put Logan in that positionI really think this is a good way to wrap up this story, yet at the same time, I want more! Any possibility of something set several years down the line, like stories of all the children and their love interests? Please?
Happy endings are for all of us.
I don't know why I do this to myself. For some reason, I frequently feel the need to finish a series, even when I didn't like the previous books. WHY!? Why do I do this to myself?
You can read my review of the first book in this series (Royally Screwed), and you'll quickly see that I did not like the book. I had heard promising things about the second in the series (Royally Matched) and being an on-again-off-again fan of The Bachelor/Bachelorette TV series, I gave it a shot. It was only slightly better than the first book.
Now that brings us to book three, Royally Endowed. I listened to the audiobook, which could attribute to my dislike of the book. I am not a fan of listening to fiction books. I don't like how when it is the male's POV he does all the reading, and when it's the female's POV she does all the reading. I'd rather they go back and forth within the POVs so she's speaking her lines even if it is from the male's POV (if that makes sense).
For some reason, hearing the dialogue spoken aloud makes it that much more cheesy. Don't get me wrong, I know there is going to be a certain amount of cheese in most romance books. But there can be too much cheese and this book was too cheesy for me. (Not the literal kind of cheese, there can NEVER be too much literal cheese).
I was suffering from a migraine earlier this week which kept me from reading, so I decided to get an audiobook from the library. I decided on Royally Endowed. Thankfully, it didn't take me that long to get through, because I did not really like it.
I did like that it was a slow burn romance. The hero and heroine know each other for five years before anything ever happens between them - even though they both have feelings for the other one. Their age difference keeps them from making a move, and I actually appreciated the maturity in that.
One thing I don't like about some romance authors is that I find their characters to be too similar, including how they act in the bedroom. I find it difficult to believe that all these men are so much alike. I want to be able to differentiate between characters easily, especially within a series.
In conclusion, I probably would not recommend this book.

Logan and Ellie’s story was a slow burn emotional and sexy read! When I found out that Logan and Ellie’s story would be the third in the series, I was so excited to see how their story would play out due to their history. Emma definitely didn’t disappoint with Royally Endowed and it was another perfect addition to the Royally series.
