I'm going to have conventional, not-standing-up sex with you later, but right now I need to bone you so badly that I am going to bang you up against this wall, because I cannot tolerate the amount of time it will take to turn us around and get us on your bed, but standing-up sex is effortless for me because you are 5'1" and I have arms like tree trunks.
Logan is a dreamy dreamboat.
This might be the best book in the series.

A hot sexy bodyguard and a small cute heroine. Owww, I like it!
From the moment Logan was introduced in the first book and Ellie had a crush on him I looked forward to this book. At the start, Ellie is a 17 year old and Logan is the bodyguard of Prince Nicholas (of the first book) and of course she is too young. But there is something there already. Flash forward several times (sometimes 6 months, then 3 years) while Ellie is growing up and then we get to the point they are both in Wessco and Logan is fighting against his feelings.
I liked that Ellie and Logan are not having the standard push-and-pull. Ellie is very open about her feelings and I loved it when Logan finally gave in! It was nice to see Olivia and Nicholas again but I was a bit miffed we get to see the wedding of Henry and Sarah but NOT Ellie and Logan's! Maybe there will be a book about Tommy and it will be in there, but I would have loved to have it in this book.

Really enjoyed this book. Especially all the glimpses into the love of Nicolas, Olivia, Henry and Sarah throughout the years.
So maybe I enjoyed this one a little less that the first two but Ellie is and interesting character but I felt their romance was rushed and I dislike the time jumps
Anyway it was fun reading so I will give it 3.5 stars

Maybe not the best in the series but still was great in offering a completely different story and relationship to the others and is definitely able to stand on its own. Wessco was even more developed which was great.
I liked that it back tracked from an intense moment and started the story from the beginning. The time jumps were often and were a bit confusing, but it was necessary and executed well.
I bought the chemistry between Logan and Ellie and liked that they had actual personalities. There were heaps of great moments that showed trust and care. The conflict with station and tradition was interesting and valid. The way this was resolved was great because it helped Logan feel worth and deserving without sacrificing important parts of himself for Ellie (which would be realistic).
A problem was that the Cain stalker plot was underdeveloped and was weirdly written especially as it was a catalyst in the redeeming the relationship. I wished Ellie finished her degree. Logan was apparently dyslexic, but it was more of a name drop.
Also, holy shit they had sex in the damn throne room (and got caught!).

I READ THIS AGAIN AND IT WAS JUST AS BRILLIANT.
first time 13/12/17
I want to cry. I am crying. Because this book was everything I wanted it to be. And more.
As per usual with an Emma Chase book, we have bloody brilliant characters with witty banter. Something I haven't seen before in her books is that there was more to the book than just the romance. With all the amazing characters we have met from previous instalments of the series (this is the last one *cries for a year*), they also have things going on and events to deal with. We get a wedding, a birth (or two) and this really rounded up the series in a great way and all our characters are happy and well and I adored reading about how still-in-love they are.
There were some unexpected really serious scenes: there's a fire and a wierdo stalker. This book is set up so brilliantly with the flash-forward, it works so perfectly. I was a bit confused because, for a while, we're suppose to think that Ellie is dead, but we know she's not. Like we've seen her in the flash-forward, right? Even though it didn't totally make sense, I was still overly invested and shed a tear, I'll admit.
There is something about the way that Chase writes humans that I can't help but love them. They all have their flaws (particularly the guys) and that just makes them even more great.
Brb, gotta read all the other Emma Chase books and pray to the Lord that she decided to grace us with another one soon.

“It’s not my fault keys abandon me. I put them in a specific spot, so I’ll know where they are for later—and I swear to God, they sprout legs and run away. Slippery, little Houdini bastards.”
Royally Endowed was the perfect conclusion for this series! Ellie and Logan made brief appearances in the other two books, and I enjoyed going back in time to see what they were doing while I was somewhere else. There were a few time jumps, and I thought it added to the slow burn of their romance. They've been fond of each other from the beginning, and now we get to see how their friendship and feelings grew over the years.
I loved Ellie! She was vibrant and sweet -- always looking out for others and finding ways to help. Her childhood was marred by the death of her mother and the subsequent absence of her father. Then her sister falls in love with a prince, which leaves her with a lovely security detail. I adored Logan and Tommy. Their banter and fierce protectiveness endeared them to me from the start. I know they would have kept Ellie safe, even if it hadn't been their job.
Logan was a softie, but only towards Ellie. She brought out a lightness in him that was rarely seen by others. Even his thoughts were spectacularly sweet and swoon-worthy. He has also worked really hard to get where he is today, and he doesn't want to do anything to jeopardize his position. However, falling in love with Ellie does just that. “I burn for you, sweet girl. I dream of you, even when I’m awake.”
Behind the scenes, there is an unknown person leaving threatening mail for Olivia and Nicholas (some of it pretty gruesome), and we get to see how that escalates throughout the story. It was interesting to have a mystery on top of all the romance that wasn't related to them specifically, but to people they cared deeply about.
Royally Endowed was different from the previous two books, because Logan and Ellie had a very long history. They've been around each other since her senior year of high school, and I really enjoyed experiencing their journey with them. “Somebody once told me a slow-burning fire is the hottest – and it must be true. Because Logan and I are a fucking inferno.”
If you're looking for a wonderful story with some of the best characters, I highly recommend this series. I've laughed out loud, cried a little, and blushed a lot. Emma Chase knows her stuff! Oh, and I know I've said this before... but the narrators are amazing.
“'Do we still hang people?' Henry asks, philosophically. When he doesn’t get an answer, he adds, 'If not, I’m bringing hanging back.' So that’s what Justin Timberlake would sound like if he were a serial killer.”

exactly what i hoped it'd be - pure wish fulfillment.
Err....ummm...How do I say....hmmm
I can't continue this without hating myself. There, I've said it. I WAS WRONG. Sometimes, narration doesn't save it.
I like a lot of mediocre romance more than I should. I tolerate some. But this...
I could not have hated this dumbass heroine more. YES, she's DUMB. She's not spirited, she's annoying. And most of all, she's dumb. How Logan would see anything
All 'Hey, Logan, I'm Valedictorian, then I rent a shit apartment without heat I propose, what seemed seriously, to stick a bonfire pit in there for heat--BUT OPEN THE WINDOW, cause HEY AMERICAN INDIANS DID IT IN TEEPEES.'
I was worried before this, but this was the point at which I felt even Shane East's great narration couldn't keep me going. The doubt was settling in. And settling in heavy. If it was sarcasm, it was not funny.
But, you know I persisted. Things started heating up. Did I understand how Ellie made the miraculous jump from annoying sister to object of desire. NOPE. Dumb plot device after another. Flashbacks that are just that, I still have no idea how they built the story because it was basically just logs of a day or two together without any significant things occurring-generally, and all the the while I'm wondering what the hell is going on in the present?
I frankly don't care anymore. Next time, please Shane East, narrate me doing my laundry instead. It'd be sexier. Way sexier. Or better yet, narrate my husband doing yard work or cooking. Much better. I can imagine it already.
