My fave of the series!
Love the wrap up of the mystery plot that tracked throughout all four books. Adele was a great FMC. You don’t get many smart and tough, badass women characters in typical male-dominated workplace and she rocked it. Adele was unafraid to be tough and bold. She was unapologetic about her attitude and I loved it. Finn was a complete sexy single dad that was amazing.
This was a very interesting and different series in general and overall, I highly enjoyed it. Not exactly light and fluffy reads, but not overly dramatic and deep either. Just a perfect combo.

I was so not ready for Finn Hebert. The way he has held onto Adele for years and never given up shows the intensity of his love. He's willing to give anything and everything to be who and what she needs him to be. He doesn't even bat and eye when his Viking sperm impregnates her. He knew they'd end up together, and boom. There they are.
I'm also so proud of Adele'a brothers for not murdering him! I'm sure that was hard. Was not expecting Henri to be the level headed one in the group. Alice is doing very well for him.

I’m a little disappointed by this one. I likes the concept of this book the most but it was the most cringe worthy and hard to read at times. Characters were both hot though so I kept reading. I’m only human

Oooh I've been waiting for Adele's book since we were first introduced to the Gagnon family. There was something about this fiery, independent woman that was clearly holding the world on her shoulder that spoke to me. Add in our viking lumberjack single dad in the form of Finn Herbert we were on for a winner!
Adele's journey in this book has been brewing for a while. She holds a lot of anger for events that have happened in the recent past and is struggling to move on. I really enjoyed seeing her let down her walls and let someone in.
Finn was everything I wanted for Adele. He's has a strength about him that matches her on a level that neither have experienced before. In addition, his relationship with his daughter Merry was a joy to see.
Adele and Finn's relationship had all the push pull that you want in a forbidden romance and when they finally give into their feelings it's explosive. [fireworks]
I really enjoyed seeing more of the Herbet family as well as clearing up some of the un-answered questions from what happened to Henri etc. as well as seeing all the couples continue on their HEA journey. I cannot wait to return to Lovewell soon.
