Loved it. It's an amazing quick read and really nice. Just about the adventures of Gulliver who meets diffrent kind of people once amazingly small ones and once immsensly tall ones. What is normal to us might be completely weird to other people. All people think of you is realtiv - nothing is absolute. I it would be than all of the people in. the book would'v e treated him equally but they didn't. It also shows how afrais the people were of the unknown first but then they started to look closedr and actually listen and it was then that they were able to cooperate with gulliver. I loved it because it just showed the probelmatics we still have today. We are afraid of the unknown which is why we build walls, we think that only our opinion counts and that there's no other one which is why society created this skinny woman who are role models for the rest but guess what there are people who don't think like that women who still eat the fries and the chocolate and people who are ready to tear the wall down. Let's listen to these people.

I, personally, am tired of reading this. Because:
1. The main problem: language. Because my first language isn't English and it was written in 1700s by an Irish. In the book I find it's written as 'persons' instead of 'people'.
Besides, I find the word 'princes' that I thought was the plural word for prince, but then he wrote 'she' and I found out that the 'princes' here is actually 'princess'. So I kind of misunderstood in some parts of the book. Well, I'm not used to the middle english language.
2. I thought this was a fantasy-adventure-kind-of book.Stupid me. I expected to get the adventure of Mr. Gulliver in the island when something happens and he does something heroic.
But see what I got: this is an allegory.
Swift compared Liliput with the country he lived in. This book is all about sarcasm.
To those who dont like serious problem like politics and laws, this is absolutely not recommended.

While I could say a lot about this book, I could also say next to nothing, and right now I’m preferring the latter. Each part was a short story in itself with a beginning, middle, and end. I don’t want to stuff this with meaning apart from historical context, but I did find it quite interesting. I lost focus somewhere in the middle, but the ending was almost astounding. And let’s just say I feel bad for his wife and children.
This book has its moment of fun, but mostly I found i boring. Lemuel Gulliver meets lots of interesting inhabitants on the different islands he is stranded, and that leads to many funny descriptions. The satire is used well to bring forward the message of this story. Unfortunately in my opinion the story seemed forced in the end.
It was a rather good read and I must admit that this work would be better adapted as a T.V. series for films don't quite do the book justice and they seem to only focus on Lilliput and only a handful progress from there and all in all I did like the book. I highly recommend it.
