I was somewhat ok with Unearthly. I liked it, didn't love it. Hallowed was amazing! I thought it was much better than the first and loved reading the character development!
Can't wait to read Boundless!

I don't much feel like writing a full review, so here are some points I want to touch upon:
-- Writing is still solid. Not especially impressive, but the story doesn't ever suffer because of it.
-- The story is getting more interesting. Still pretty vague about this whole "purpose" thing, but it doesn't feel boring, despite how little really goes on.
-- This book made me cry; it gets points just for that. The death scene did me in, and I teared up any time
SpoilerClara's mom was talking about how she was dying, especially when Jeffery was involved.

-- The love triangle is pretty well done. I feel torn much in the same way Clara does-- when she's with one boy, she feels like the feelings she has for him are undeniable. I loved the scenes with both Christian and Tucker, and I preferred whichever one Clara was with at the time. By the end of the book. I was definitely leaning more towards Christian, but I could probably be swayed back to Tucker.
Overall, I'd say so far that this series is good, but nothing super impressive. I enjoy reading the books, and I'm really looking forward to finding out how it ends.

See book one for review of the series.

Really 3.5 Stars. Review with reasons why to come.....

I was completely surprised by this series. I honestly didn't think a book about angels could be interesting without being all preachy. But it took quite a different approach then I was expecting.

There were only a few things I didn't enjoy, and mostly because of my own taste not for fault in the book.

I am so completely bummed that Tucker can't be her 'right now' anymore. I don't like Christian that much, I found him a little pompous about being an angel blood and a little weird.

I loved the Twilight references Cynthia Hand puts in there a couple times. That made me laugh!

And I suspected Jefferey to have started the fires, yet I was thinking he was going to be turning into this evil Black Wing and there would be another book about how White Wing and Black Wing from the same family and battle. . . or something. So it was not as I expected, still good, but since he had been acting like such an ass, I was hoping he would get what was coming to him.

And I'm a little irked about angel bloods only living 120 years. But, like I said. Not the books fault or the authors, just my own little fantasy about what I imagined.....anyway. . .

I enjoyed this series a lot. I loved the humor and smart wit. As well as how Hand writes emotions in all her characters, especially the facial expressions, I can picture them so clearly.

Good stuff for a fun read.

We could sum up by I cried, I cried, I cried, and I cried. that book was amazing...

Bit depressing, but good on the whole. That is all. Anything else would be too spoilery.

This Book was absolutely fantastic. Luckily I took out the third one from my library. I must see how this book ends.
