I truly enjoy this series.

Some parts were meh, but I like, especially the twists. Seriously though Clara Jeffrey exists too

Update 1: Just finished Unearthly after taking a break to read it during a very long series that was starting to irritate me. Finished Unearthly in 5 hours and immediately bought Hallowed. I have a feeling I"ll finish this one today as well and then wail and moan because the third doesn't come out til January.
Update 2: I'm just as enthralled with book 2 as book 1. Normally the middle book in a trilogy loses steam for me.
Update 3: WHAT IS THIS!? I can usually see plot twists coming from a mile away, but I did NOT expect that with the!

This book was so good! I really enjoyed it. So much happened though, I have no idea what's going to happen in the last book. I love Christian and Clara. This ending was really good. It was exactly how I would have ended it.

First thoughts:
Okay, so second book was just as good as the first. I was upset that Clara wasn't paying more attention to her brother (I mean I find out he's getting black feathers you bet I'm going to hound him for answers), happy obviously because there's two amazing boys who are fawning after her, and extremely sad about Meg. There's a lot that came to light in this book and I'm hoping for Clara to overcome everything and become superwoman (or superangel?)...
Now that I've put it down I'm desperate for the third one. Also, I won't mind who she chooses Christian or Tucker, but Christian is my pick.

Just when I thought my otp will sail this ship and make it through the darkest pit,Cynthia Hand shattered my reverie.
I really enjoyed Unearthly, and Hallowed was even better! Clara's relationships with most of the other characters felt more developed this time around to me. And oh man, some of the things she went through... my heart just broke for her. I definitely can't wait for the next book!
