“Our first kiss was going to be the lasting kind. The kind she’d never forget. The kiss that erased all others from her past.” [ 3.5* ]
Hands down my favorite of the series. A book full of second chances and healing from trauma. The relationship between Masiy and Hunter was really sweet and I loved how they cared for each other. I also adore the relationship hunter built with Colby and how he always tried to protect them and do the right thing even when he should have made a different choice. I loved the ending of this book and how it wrapped up. I’ll still forever want a book for mason especially since he make an appearance in an extended epilogue for timeless(lark cove series)

I was excited to read Maisie's story. After all of the horror of her and GiGi's ordeal in the earlier books, I wanted her to find a worthy man.
Hunter is such a sweetheart. I love that he's a dr with a man bun. Of course, he could have done better about sharing his info earlier but I kind of understand his reluctance. I knew there were ties to things that he didn't want to acknowledge but I wasn't prepared for all the revelations.
Maisie is a survivor. With everything that has happened to her, it's a wonder that she didn't run far away from Montana. I appreciated that they discussed her PTSD and acknowledged that she might need to revisit therapy.
I was shocked with Nell's reemergence.
I have really enjoyed this series and look forward to reading the next book.

I have wanted to read Maisy's book since the first Jamison Valley book and it did not disappoint! Maisy trusted the wrong guy 5 years ago and it left her hurt, with trust issues but also a beautiful little boy. Maisy is a single mom who runs her own inn. When Hunter comes to town and stays at the inn while his house is being built, Maisy is instantly attracted to him. Hunter has been watching Maisy from afar and has secrets he has to keep from her. This story was angsty, steamy, a bit of humor and lots of adorable kid time with Maisy's son Coby. One of my favorite things about single parent romances is when the hero falls in love with the heroine and her child too and Hunter was amazing with Coby. I loved all the scenes with them together. Maisy was a strong heroine who has been through a lot but never felt sorry for herself. Hunter was super swoony - manbun alert! The two of them together were perfect. I am so sad that this series has come to an end. I have loved every book in this series and I really look forward to whatever Devney Perry has in store for us next!
Maisy is by far the most anticipated character in this series. After what she went through in the first book 1, the Coppersmith Farmhouse, I was really excited to learn more about her and the after effects of the events that took place.
She meets Hunter who is a guest at her Inn that she owns with her almost 4 year old son. And she has an immediate connection to. But he is mysterious and doesn’t talk much about his past. Hunter is finally back in Prescott and can no longer stay away from the only girl he’s always wanted since he laid eyes on her 3 years ago. But he has secrets and when Maisy finds out she may never give him a chance.
Maisy was definitely a complex character. She used work as a way to cope and threw herself into projects to stay busy. She’s an amazing mother who has a hard time letting people in. But slowly she has watched all her friends and family find their one and she wants that for herself. She has a hard time trusting Hunter at first because of her past and it takes away for her to give him. Hunter was a good character is not a question mark. You don’t find out a lot about him until the end.
This book was a lot of miscommunication through the series. And to be honest Maisy bothered me. While I won’t spoil anything I don’t think she handled the big reveal right. She was hurt and betrayed but also refused to let him tell her for weeks? And then Hunter was fully to blame. Without that I would’ve enjoyed this story a lot better but I couldn’t get past how it all happened.

I have to say I was expecting so much more from this series. The beginning of the story and the blurb is promising. But the plot and the execution, again, fall boring in the middle. Miss Perry kept on dragging the story by putting too many plot.
I only feel lukewarm toward Hunter and Maisy. I found their attraction is not enough to elevate the story. And the twist of who is Hunter, also predictable since beginning. Need more drama to make it work.
Overall this is still an OK read. Just OK.
