The mystery surrounding Hunter made me not want to love him for Maisy, but dang if I didn’t anyway. I’m such a sucker for a single mom or single dad trope so I was engaged from the jump! Maisy is the perfect heroine and of course Hunter and his man bun make for the perfect hero. This book is in my top 2 faves of this series (but I truly loved them all, even more after reading all of them).
This series was truly wonderful! The epilogue of this book and the way it wrapped everyone’s stories up- well done Devney! I’m in love!
What else can I say except I love Hunter! The Bitterroot Inn was sweet and swoon-worthy and suspenseful. It was so wonderful to fall in love with Marist, Hunter, and Coby’s story.

“Catch the big fish, Son. And when you do, don’t let her go, no matter how hard she fights”
I wondered how her story was gonna end and I loved it. She got what her and her son deserved with a few rough patches along the way which is bound to happen when Devney Perry is writing the book.
What a good wrap up to this series. I felt like I grew with each character in each book. We got to witness families growing, friendships being made, and with each book I got more invested in everyone’s story. I cried at the end because parting with these characters feels like I’m parting with family. I got emotionally invested in each of the characters and I loved even more that most were flawed. I was so happy we finally got to witness Maisy’s story and see her grow fully into who she was meant to be.
