I have been patiently waiting for Maisy’s story and it did not disappoint!

I found that Hunters big secret was a bit predictable and was a little nervous that this was a stalker romance at first but learned to love him.

He fit perfectly into Maisy’s little family and I adored how much he loved Coby.

The epilogue killed me🥹

Thoughts: SOOOO happy with this series! Cannot wait to read the last book in this series :)

Ah-mazing!!! The Bitterroot Inn was the perfect way to close out the Jamison Valley series. Maisy played such a huge part in the first book and every book in between that it makes perfect sense that she was the final story.

Years later and Maisy still struggles with the aftermath of being forced to kill her son’s father for survival. She gave up a great career as a nurse and immersed herself into taking over the towns motel and making it succeed all the while raising her beautiful son.

As the years go by she has watched one loved one after another find their soul mate. She longs for that same type of love but isn’t sure she can ever trust again after Everett. Until Hunter comes to town.

Holy cow! It only took two seconds into the introduction of Hunter and I was in love with him myself! Despite his air of mystery, I knew he was going to be the one Maisy has been waiting for. I don’t think I have ever wanted to skip to the end of a book so bad as I did with this one. I couldn’t figure out what Hunter was hiding and I had to keep telling myself to be patient and find out when Maisy does. It was not what I was expecting!

Not only did the author blow me away with this book, but also with the series as a whole. I’ve loved every minute of getting to know each and every character in this beautiful town of Prescott, Montana. The way Devney Perry wrapped up everyone’s story and hinted at the new generation made this sentimental fool a happy woman. The Bitterroot Inn was a bittersweet end. I’m so happy to have everyone’s story but so very sad to see that it’s over. This series is a must read!

I loved every single word.
What a beautiful story for Maisy!
Gah, I couldn't put the book down for even a second.

Another fantastic book in this series. I’m so glad Maisy got her HEA. I’m glad everything worked out in the end. I love how there is suspense and mystery in each one of these books. I loved how Hunter was with Coby. How Maisy worked hard getting The Inn remodeled and her own.

4.5 Stars (which I believe is the lowest rating of the series...so I think that says something. It says READ THIS SERIES!) Since book one, Devney Perry has been on my 'authors I MUST read' list. Her books will always be on my shelf and in my kindle.

So I feel like I've been waiting for Maisy's story for FOREVER! Ever since Coppersmith Farmhouse, I've been on the edge of seat just waiting... impatiently...

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Maisy and Hunter... what can I say other than awesome?!
I can count on Devney Perry to release a book with great writing, a great story, and the ability to make me connect with the characters emotionally. The Bitterroot Inn has all of these qualities...and more! Single mom, check. Hot doctor, check. Cute as hell kid, check.

The fifth book of the Jamison Valley series was a great way to end it. As much as I wanted Maisy's HEA right after book one, it was a perfect way to circle around and bring this amazing series to an end. Maisy was such a big part of the first book, you really get connected to her and want to get her story ASAP. Waiting was pure agony but once I got my hands on it, all I can say is that it was worth the wait.

Like I said in my review of The Coppersmith Farmhouse, I could read this series every single day and I would be happy. I'm obsessed.
I wish I had had time to reread the series again before I started this so I could have dove straight into this head first. (I have a problem of getting so excited and impatient for a book in a series but once the book comes out, it just sits on my shelf or kindle; or it takes me a while to finish-which happened here. I would've read this in a day if I had started the series over again.)

The only problem I had was that there was at least three or four times, in the middle of a chapter, a month would just be skipped. I'm not a big fan of time elapsing in the middle of a chapter. I understand time needs to go by but in this, an event would occur and before personally, I emotionally felt like it was over, I was hit with "it's been one month since.. yada yada yada."

Oh, another thing I didn't like...Hunter had a man bun! Yuck...no thanks. (Well, I guess I should say, in my mind, he did not have one.)

*Side note to Devney: if I start a petition and get a lot of signatures, can we get a novella with Milo and Sara's story?

Every time I read a novel from Devney Perry, I am transported to my favorite little town of Prescott in Jamison Valley. I love reading about all the gossip that goes on, who is marrying who- having babies, and all around good news. But there’s always that bit of drama/angst that happens too. And I knew with Maisy’s past history, from The Coppersmith Farmhouse on through, hers was going to be a fantastic story- and I was not disappointed.
Maisy loves the life she has been given, and is grateful every day for what she has. Even if it seems like she has too much on her plate- she always gets it taken care of. She has a wonderful son, and awesome family- and kick ass friends. But now that almost all of her friends have coupled off, she is feeling a little bit lonesome. She can’t open her heart to trust anyone because of Everett- Cody’s birth father- the man she murdered. But then someone waltzes into her motel, someone she thinks is a beautiful man. And he turns out to be just that- only he has a big secret that he can’t tell Maisy.
Hunter Faraday is a dreamy hero. He has been one of my favorite guys, and almost beat out Jess for my top Devney Book Boyfriend. ALMOST. Even though he has to keep this secret from Maisy, or so he thinks, to keep her safe. He was drawn to Maisy like a moth to a flame the very first time he saw her in Prescott years ago. But now that he is back, seemingly for good- he tries to stay away to protect her. But he just can’t. He wants to belong to her, and her to him.
And this story was much about survival and forgiveness- like a lot of Devney’s Jamison Valley books- and I love that. I just love her small town romance series, it’s one of my favorite tropes- and I cannot wait for more things to come from Devney. She is a talent that we need more of in the book world. Her words are effervescent- they breathe new life into a trope that sometimes gets cast by the wayside. Her characters are ones that you can relate too, I can picture myself doing and saying many things these heroines do in her stories, and I can see my husband being all alpha and protective like the heroes do too.
Finally I want to say a special thank you to Devney. Thank you so much for these characters and this special series, I will never forget it. The first four were in my top 50 books of 2017- at number five. I don’t know if you know this about me, but I am a huge book nerd and I read at least 20 or so books a month- I read 300 last year alone, and out of ALL of those books, narrowing it to fifty was HARD. But to make it into my top ten is near impossible- and all of your books did just that. So keep up the writing Devney, I don’t want this to be the last I hear of you, and I will pimp you out every chance I get- your books I mean 

A sweet and heartfelt end to the Jamison series, where we get to see a grown up Maisy and her adorable son. The mysterious new guest at the Bitterroot Inn, Hunter, is all Maisy needs, but he’s so intent on keeping secrets. As everything comes to a head we see Maisy’s resilience and strength as well as Hunters unwavering love.

I think this was a great way to end the series that tied up lose strings but still leaves you wanting more!

Until next time,
