Trash. Ridiculous, enjoyable trash.

Honestly, the ending let me down. Could have done so much more...

This was perhaps the strangest book I've ever read. The whole thing is crazy. A pterodactyl lands at school and no one blinks an eye?!? What the heck?!? And Shiels is a useless protagonist, a complete control freak.
I read this book half-way and skimmed over the rest. This could have been funny - and in parts it was, even if only because it's so ridiculous - but the author turned it into a disturbing read full of not-quite sex and "wrangle dancing."

What did I just read? I mean, really? This is... well, it's not the weirdest thing I've ever read, but it's close. I can't believe this exists. But at the same time, I don't think I could imagine a world without something so ridiculous as Hot Pterodactyl Boyfriend.

The whole book is weird, sure, but the ending felt more so. Really, it felt rushed and.. I guess it was just a huge let down.

Whatever though, I'm still 100% glad I read this strange thing, whatever it is.

DNF @10%

Not only is this book absolutely bananas, it's also poorly written...

I don't even think it deserves a star from how bad it is. I could have been an awesome ridiculous book but ended up being about a unlikable control-freak of a girl that gets obsessed the dino-boy. I don't understand how everyone just loves him right from the beginning; I don't know but you'd think people would be freaking the hell out and calling all news programs out there.

What the actual fuck did I just read??

Review to come... I need time to process this.

I forced myself to read a majority of this book in one sitting cause if I took my time with it, I wouldn't be alive when I eventually finish it. That being said, I knew this book wasn't good, I went into this book knowing it wasn't good yet it managed to be worse that I expected. The writing style is awful, (Too many parentheses!) and some bits were unnecessary and downright uncomfortable to read. This wasn't a fun bad book, this is a genuinely bad book and I pray that this book stays away from everyone I hold dear.

If people can read books about teen girls dating vampires, werewolves, demons, and angels, why not read a book about a teen girl dating a pterodactyl?
