Raff and Posie's story was full of malicious intent, steam and secrets. While I didn't agree with some of the things that happened in the book, I can understand why they did.
Kayleigh has penned a story that will keep you guessing, tear at your heart, and—if you don't already—make you love morally grey characters.

I read this for my dark & quirky book club May pick and it was really good. I thought going into it I was going to be annoyed because I hate miscommunication as a plot, but this was not that. You could really empathize with the characters and what they were going through and their actions made sense and when they got new information you could see they acted differently based on it so I felt it was really relatable in that way.
Addictive, ott College Romance with Second Chance and bully vibes.

Exactly the type of book I needed to binge in one sitting.
Butterflies & Vicious Lies kept me intrigued from start to finish, but did it check off all of my boxes? Kinda
Since this is a Second-Chance Romance where the MMC actively tries to make the FMC pay for what she did in the past, I do wish there would've been some groveling (or even an apology).
That would've made this from a good read to an "OMG, THIS IS SO GOOD" one.

Wow! This book was everything. I am obsessed with Posie and Raff!
This is a dark romance, with a lot of possible triggers. There is alcohol and drug abuse, childhood trauma, abuse, overdose, sexual assault, drugging, grief, accidents and a few others.
This story is so raw and emotional. Raff will piss you off, but you also want to hug him. Posie is selfless by giving up her own happiness, to protect the ones she loves. The friendship and love in this story is overwhelming.
The story does flashback to year prior throughout the story. It’s is done well and easy to follow.
There are several other characters in this story that I’d love for them to have their own story!!

This is one of my favorite reads this year. I can’t say how much I loved Rafferty. I am a sucker for a bully romance so this book was right up my ally. This book is best gone I to blind so I won’t say to much. I will say the spice is amazing and there are great plot twists and secrets.
