Great sequel!! There were slow bits but most of them I didn't mind.
Loved all the characters in this - obvs I already loved most of them in the first book - but OMG I can't even put into words how much I loved them in this. Lila aka MY QUEEN, she is so amazing, such a unique and strong character. Kell aka moody and miserable but that's why I love him, he deserves some happiness though. LILA AND KELL'S REUNION OMG
And Alucard. Such a great new character, he was hilarious. And even though we didn't see much of it in this book I SHIP HIM AND RHY SO MUCH
The ending had me screaming. Just.... uugggghhhhh I need these characters to be okay

AHHH KELL, Lila better save him! You just know she’s an Antari, the missing eye? Multiple elementals? Being able to travel PAH.

I feel so sorry for Holland, just want him to be free.

Alucard was a great new character! I rly liked how schwab made it clear he had done something but didn’t say what, it rly kept you reading. Same with having both Lila and kell back in London but they didn’t meet for AGESSS, kept me reading wanting to find out when they’d find eachother!! I still don’t really like Lila’s character, she is soooo reckless and careless, I feel like she should have been caught out for something now?? Like killing that veskan guy and just nobody said anything, how??? I also think she’s been made really overpowered, she’s only been training for 4 months but managed to beat that many people?

I want to know more about rhy and alucards past tho, defo more there.

I hate how the king and queen have switched up on Kell. I hope they see to their senses in the next book.

The games was a good touch, was really cool.
