Usually I can't stand reading books written in letter form, but this actually was sorta fun! I loved the characters that were in this book! They were so crazy! I grew up with the movies so when I read the books it took a little while for me to get use to them...but I did and now I LOVE them!!!

Although I still love this one, it might be my least favorite of the series, since it's mostly told in the form of letters to Gilbert. But there are still entertaining stories strewn throughout.

It gets 3.5 stars because the characters and the town really grew on me but I didn't like how there was very little interaction or even mention of the favorite characters from previous books

LMM did my girl Anne so dirty with this one. I love the main series, didn’t know that this was written afterwards. Anne’s characterization was very flat and ~flawless, so it felt more like fan service than part of the series.

It was fine but I wish I skipped it.

Nothing much to say about this series that hasn't already been said. Sweet and comforting recounting of the adventures of our girl Anne as she makes her way in the world as a young woman. These books don't appeal to everyone, but they're the original cozy novels and I will reread them forever.
