This is quite possibly the dumbest book I’ve encountered. Characters are caricatures. All that was missing were white cowboy hats and black cowboy hats. The plot had promise but the book is poorly written.

Exciting story and very action-packed, but definitely seeing the Author’s political agenda/views coming through his writing in this one. If you can get past that it’s an exciting shoot ‘em up!

The authors familiarity with military tactics and equipment really shines through and thorough. That gets into the weeds bit too much on it and it can sound like a technical manual at times. its fast paced and the action beats are really good. That’s only good thing I can say about it. All the characters are flat the villains are cartoonish. The author uses this book to spout his political beliefs and anyone who doesn’t agree is made to be slavering fiend. It’s rife with misogyny and racism.

This was a great first novel. It reminded me a lot of Vince Flynn’s early work - Term Limits, in particular. I hope this is the beginning of a series. Really looking forward to the next book.
