I was so looking forward to reading this book and got thoroughly disappointed by it. The voice, the moves, the character himself seemed like Jack Reacher but a bad mirror image of him. It lacks the smooth operatorness that makes Reacher such an endearing knight in shining armor in this bad, brutal world.
I understand from reading the interview of the authors that this is a collaborative work between the Child brothers; a way of bringing Reacher into the 21st century, giving him a second wind, which I find commendable but I hope they won't lose the very essence of him in the process.

Just good, clean fun in the arena of good versus evil. I love listening to these books.
The Jack Reacher series by Lee Child is in my top 5 favorite series. I had put off reading this book because I was worried that it wouldn’t meet my high expectations due to Andrew Child taking over the series due to Lee Child’s retirement. I was pleasantly surprised! I really enjoyed this book!

Intriguing yet felt like a short reading. In my opinion there are better plots and longer story reveals on other novels of the saga, which in this case are provided instead of discovered by the reader which tends to be more pleasurable.
