I was hooked into this story from the very first sentence! It had it all from tears, fears and joy! All written beautifully with wonderful characters and a vivid setting that made you feel like you were watching, rather reading this story unfold. Looking forward to reading the next book in this trilogy soon. :)

There was a bit of a problem where I knew more than I should have because I had read book 2, but this was interesting and I liked Nola and Tate.

Good but not great. Felt rushed at the end with the epilogue and realized there are two more in the trilogy which now makes sense. Not sure how the issues with Tates dad will resolve in further books.

A fun, quick romantic suspense novel. One heads up to potential readers, though — the killer was not caught by the end of this book. That was really the only thing that frustrated me about this book, but I do plan on finishing the last two books of the trilogy because the writing was good quality and the story was absorbing.

A little rough in places, a little too pat in others, but overall a good story and an unusual premise pulls it through.

Did not at all enjoy the writing style of this one (or the protagonist's constant lamentations to/at god).
