Sometimes I get fees up with books about wealthy, successful, good looking main characters. But for some reason it didn’t bother me here. Maybe because Jonas’ point-of-view - the majority of the book - was so in need of expanding. I did like the two men both offered each other a kind of care that helped them tackle their own problems.

Oh, Dean. What a sweetheart. I’ve loved him in other books do it was nice to see him get his own HEA. Jonas was a little hard to like in some places but I was glad to see him suck it up at the end and show Dean how valuable he was. Can’t wait to read Pip’s story. Should be interesting

This was very nearly a DNF.

The level of disspointement I feel right now is so high.

I actually laughed out loud a couple of times. I really loved it except for the third act breakup, it was super annoying and unnecessary. Fortunately it was quick.

4.5⭐️ - I really enjoyed this sweet story of finding love where you had always wanted it to be.

There are several characters carried over from other Lily books, but this can be read without those first - which is what I did. Now I want to go back and read about those characters!!

I loved Dean so much! He was the absolute sweetest soul. He also had no confidence due to a very tragic childhood. But he was resilient and so full of love! He was so enamored with Jonas and was in awe of his life. He lived to love him and his daughter. He was full of the life they needed

Jonas was stiff! He rarely allowed himself any joy but his pull towards Dean could only be avoided for so long. He needed Dean in every way. Dean gave him the life and relationship he never envisioned he’d get to have.

I loved all of the other characters and the interact. I really loved how everyone was just waiting for Dean and Jonas to finally figure out they were supposed to be together.

Dean made my heart ache with his self deprecation and lack of self worth. He truly believed he was less than most others, especially Jonas. But Jonas was so lovely with him. He not only supported and encouraged him but he learned about Dean’s issue. They were each other’s biggest supporters!!

And the spicy scenes we got were so hot and even filthy!! I loved it!!

This one was a bit all over the place. Not a lot of consistency from the characters, or very much depth. Most of the chapters were from Jonas's POV, and he was unfortunately the more boring of the two. I usually like Lily Morton but this one was just ok.

[I received a digital arc for an honest review]

The Sunny Side by Lily Morton is the first book in The Model Agency. Jonas Durand runs a very successful modeling agency while his personal life takes a back seat. He has always been drawn to Dean Jacobs but never allowed himself to get too close. Dean is a top supermodel with the world at his feet. As he starts questioning his career path, he finds comfort and safety with Jonas. As the two men get closer Jonas and Dean are forced to decide if they're compatible in the long run or if they’re just having a good time.

Jonas Durand has always had serious partners who are very similar to him. Dean is a breath of fresh air who allows him to have fun and let go. Jonas finds himself making time for not just Dean but reconnecting with his daughter and his brother. The physical intimacy comes second to the emotional connection the two men feel.

I don’t understand why we fit, but somehow, we do.

Dean Jacobs is known as a ditzy airhead and he just lets people think what they want to. Behind his striking looks is a compassionate, sweet and honorable man who just wants to help everyone. He has always been drawn to Jonas and is thrilled when Jonas lets him in. Dean puts so much pressure on himself based on his unfortunate upbringing and allows Jonas in on his deepest secrets.

“You do all that by just being you.” I whisper.
“You’re enough whether you believe it or not, Dean Jacobs.”

The Model Agency brings Jonas and Dean’s story to the forefront after meeting them in Malachi’s and Jude’s stories. This book was just the right amount of sweet, sexy and emotional. I loved seeing how their relationship brought out the best in Jonas and Dean and their growth into a family. I also adored Pip and Mal’s roles in supporting the two men both as individuals and in their budding relationship.

4.5 stars for Jonas and Dean bringing out the best in each other and embracing a future together.
