This was perfect in every way. Fatma’s suits, the wonderfully nuanced characters, the elaborate setting, the mentions of food that will make you ravenous, the villainous White colonialists you love to hate. I smiled the whole time I read and can’t wait to revisit it.

No matter how much I liked the concept and wanted to like it, over descriptions of fashion is not personality. Also, don't tell me your investigator is a brilliant one, and then have them stumble or pointed towards the answer.
