I’m happy this author can still make the story fresh even at volume 11. The first half is full of angst (which I loved) and then a new villain and an intense situation rule the second half.

I'm a little surprised by the 4 and 5 star ratings and the glowing reviews for a volume that is obviously problematic. I've invested this much time so will go on to the next volume and see what happens but this one is just bad and needed a lot of editing.

LOL what the H*CK was this volume? It was kind of scary and stressful for a second and then it was so ridiculously funny. I'm cryinggg. I wish that one guy would've gotten his teeth kicked in, but I guess Hana pepper spraying him was good enough for me. I did not expect this series to take such an intense turn. wow. I've been reading more intense manga so when she got kidnapped, I was just thinking 'okay, this is the perfect time to stab him and run!' But then I remembered this isn't that kind of manga.

This was quite the volume. I might call it the most dramatic to date (which is saying something for this series). There's heartbreak, sketchy family members, kidnapping, rescue, and some tropes that I didn't love, such as attempted sexual assault. On the sketchy family member, Takane's cousin the sketchy bastard kicked Takane down the stairs?!?! WTF?! And then he kidnaps Hana?! What the hell is wrong with this guy?! On the heartbreak, So yeah. All in all, quite the volume. I didn't love it as much as others in the series, to be honest. I'll definitely keep reading though! There's only 7 volumes left. 3.5 stars.

Hana confronts Takane about the kiss and tells him she loves him. He completely rejects her and shuts her down. Big oof. But then he saves her at the end. So the volume ends with things rather up in the air.thelilbookwitch's review

This volume really needed some editorial direction... and maybe a few trigger warnings.
Spoiler
Hana's abduction and subsequent attempted sexual assaults, yes plural, are handled so poorly. She has absolutely 0 reaction to what happened, her concern is all about Takane and.... that kind of experience just.... doesn't resolve in that way for survivors. I really hope the author doesn't simply brush this off and creates a delayed reaction for Hana... it would be so disingenuous otherwise.raine_rki's review against another edition

This took two totally unexpected turns. Wow. I’m glad that they are beginning to communicate though. Not as good as the last but has some crazy epic scenes!!
The author’s note; This “things falling from the sky” series is alive and well.
• yesssssss. If/once you read it you’ll understand what they’re talking about.

This wasn't my favorite book in the series so far, but there is some content that is hard to handle (assault) in this one so that is likely why. Definitely a volume with more action than normal.
