This is an adorably fizzy novella and exactly what I needed to lighten my spirit on this very grim weekend.

Absolutely gorgeous

I loved this so much. The werewolf transformation blessing in Hebrew made my nerdy Jewish self squeal so hard. and the romance was so soft and loving, with really hot well negotiated sex scenes. Just lovely!!

Cinnamon is one hot spice

This was a fun and sexy superhero story. With aliens and vampires working against them Blade and Soledad still manage to start a relationship. I had a lot of fun reading this book. It has fight scenes and sex scenes whY more could you want. Great book

Things I really liked:

- the Judaism, and especially the way it's worked into speculative aspects of the story! ugh the fact that the werewolf character had created a blessing for his transformation, and that Glassman gives it to you in Hebrew as well... it was so so beautifully nerdy and amazing
- open and direct communication around sex
- Cinnamon Blade's relationship to her teammates felt layered and rich even within the short space of a novella
- Soledad Castillo's wonderful nerdiness

I wasn't so much a fan of how the flirting and sex themselves were written, but the book was so much fun regardless!

A bit short, but enjoyable all the same.

Cute and sexy

This is more of a 3.5 but rounding up because novellas are super tricky to do. This was an interesting premise for a romance and I enjoyed the characters. One thing I loved about this is how the characters talk like real people during the sex scenes. Lots of asking and directions instead of mind reading. Nice detail.

Ahhh this was such a brilliant little novella. I don’t think Cinnamon Blade is a character I’ll be forgetting anytime soon.

Also the romance between Cinnamon & Soledad was adorable and my f/f loving heart is just bursting with joy. It was so nice to read something both entertaining( poor Cinnamon just can’t get away from the vampires and aliens) and fluffy.

Overall I adored it. Another Shira Glassman Novella to add to my favorites.

Cinnamon Blade is a full-time superhero, fighting vampires and aliens, rescuing civilians and having her friends, and teammates, back. But she can't ignore the share attraction between her and Soledad Castillo. Can they have a nice and quiet date, like everyone else?

This a pretty short but super fun read. I love superheroes, I love found families storylines, I love characters who used to be more like antiheroes but they redeem. And for above everything else, I love f/f romances.

At this point, I have read a couple of Shira's book and I always find such a wonderful and adorable story. Although this one is a little bit sexier (and hot). Not complaining, at all.

I enjoy this one, we get information about the world-building and the characters' past. It also worked better for me because the couple already knows each other, and they've been flirting for a while. So the transition from single to in relationship feels more smooth.
