“There's no such thing as silence.

They say there is, up there in outer space. But not down here. Wherever there's air, there's something to breathe it. Something that makes noise.”

Another one bites the dust. I just had a craving to reread this series

I’m over halfway through with the series, and I think this may have been my least favorite so far. So much so that I don’t remember a whole lot that went on during it.

Having been reading the series for so long and seen the movie a couple of times, I think these last few volumes aren’t going to be quite as fun, considering my favorite parts or the most exciting parts have already happened. I don’t even recall the Family Values volume from the film even.

I’m determined to finish the last two so I won’t be quiting but I might not read them quite so soon.

3.5 out of 5 --- Shortest Sin City story so far... Story was pretty straight forward; nice highlight for deadly little Miho.

Le faltó la potencia de los otros capítulos pero también es bueno.

Meh. Bit of a disappointment considering how good the preceding books were.

Heavy on the violence and the lame near-superhuman Japanese assassin trope, but very light on the plot.

It's only about a 30 minute read so it's hard to say I regret reading it, but I would not recommend it were this a standalone story.

Violent and nasty. This book is NOT for children. A tale of revenge, hard revenge. I could not stop reading this one, it drew me on to see where Miller would go with the story. Hard, cold revenge.

My only complaint is that, compared to previous volumes, the story blows by way too quickly.

After That Yellow Bastard, Family Values is a step down in dramatic tension and ambivalence. The team of Dwight and Miho go after bad guys. Fun, hilarious at parts but not as dark and original as the previous stories.
