My favorite of the series so far and does really well to remove Darrow's plot armor he always seemed to have. I can also tell how much I loved this book because I hated what happened a lot of times.
I am also sitting here pissed that I ordered Lightbringer on Amazon and it will not arrive until tomorrow. That is how much this book made me want the next one, at least I do not have to wait for it to release.

We continue the cycle of a good book followed by a bad one. This one is good again. The characters are established ams play well together. It s not flawless but interesting for sure, way more so than the previous part.
Here is to hoping the next one breaks the cycle. The stage is set, I think it can be done and I am eagerly awaiting the Lyria figment arc.
