I love books with a grumpy male figure. The spice was perfect, romance was adorable. Bravo!

I went back-and-forth between the physical book and audiobook on this one. For me, the physical book was better. I did not enjoy the audio on this one.

I listened to this as an audiobook on Audible. The narrators were good. I love a good small town, grumpy/sunshine vibe. But there was something that seemed missing that made me not get attached to these characters. I enjoyed it but just a bit mid to me.

this was so cute & vulnerable. Related to Georgie and found her self realization touching. Love the love in this book - Hank, Bel & Levi.

Georgie has lost her job, which she was never even that passionate about, and lacks direction. She moves home temporarily to get back on her feet and figure out what it is that she wants for her life. She discovers a friend fiction piece that she wrote with her childhood best friend and is inspired to use it a a bucket list of sorts. She then refers to "the fic" (gag, some serious editing could've helped here) every few paragraphs and gets on everyone's nerves.

DNF at 60% I couldn't make myself read it any longer. I kept waiting for it to get better and it just never did. There was no chemistry between the two main characters. I did not agree with the synopsis at all-it was not honest, deeply emotional, smart or tender. It felt very juvenile, superficial and forced.

This was the perfect romcom to listen to slowly while I needed something mindless. It was the perfect amount of romance vs family drama and I loved that it had such a good balance.

I highly recommend this one if you love a returning to your hometown love story - the guy you never knew but knew of as the brother of your high school crush

I just love her books. So relatable. So readable. And the characters are always likeable.
