Never judge a book by its cover, this was unexpectedly whole with and actual conflict and a sweet romance.
It was a little bit rushed and I would've liked a little more developtment in some things that happened but overall it was a pleasant surprise and a fun sweet time.

Okay, but this was SO good! I wasn’t expecting to be as hooked on it as I was! The communication and respect for both main character’s cultures, despite them being thrust into an arranged marriage where both were floundering at first, was so refreshing.

I had no clue what to think when my friend suggested this book to me. It ended up just being a cute, fun read. There’s no real angst or miscommunication troupe or alpha hole here. It’s just a heartwarming, lovely read that makes you realize sometimes you need adoration and nurturing rather then the bossy tough as nails alpha (who I LOVE) typically found in the books I read.

You have much to learn about me and humans in general, just like I have much to learn about you and the Andturian people. We can do that together. As long as we communicate and keep an open mind, there’s nothing we can’t overcome.”
I mean come on! This is just screaming healthy marriage. Don’t get me wrong there’s spice and sexy scenes in the book too, not to mention love. Im so glad I hesitantly picked up this book

Honestly, I thought this book would either make me cringe or laugh, I absolutely did not expect to love it as much as I did. It was heartwarming and cute and interesting and the world building was great.

He was hilarious in the beginning, didn’t fall for the human straight away and he made some comments in his monologues that I genuinely laughed at. He was super sweet as time went on, and faced struggles being the clan leader versus wanting his mate to be happy but handled them really well.

She was lovely and made such an effort to learn the customs of her new clan. She worked hard and had this passion for farming and was optimistic even in the face of hesitancy and what looked like no hope.
