This alien romance is a gem! I was completely captivated by the way the couple connected, exploring each other's cultures with curiosity and respect. The gradual development of their relationship was so refreshing. Susan and Olix shared a truly wonderful bond. A five-star read all the way!

I love how much research Olix (and eventually the rest of the clan) did to learn about humans so he could better understand Susan. I also like that she didn't try to pressure any of the clan to try farming and instead accepted that some scars are too hard to erase.

Fun, sweet, light read. This is a great clash between hunters, farmers and a changing world. Who knew lizardmen could be so sweet?!
