Probably the weakest edition in the Lumberjane series to date, but overall not horrible. As usual they fight weird supernatural creatures in the forest, stumble across shady figures, and work together to put what little survival skills they have to the test. They may not all be book smart but they all love each other and can put their heads together in a time of crisis which is what they have to do when their camp counselor goes missing. Little do they know that she has been taken by an old scout and that things are not what they appear to be. A fun and light read.
Another s ory arc from 4 collected comics. The Lumberjanes get lost in a snowstorm but Jen gets rescued by a mystery woman with a lot of taxidermy in her lodge.
Why does she have a grudge against Rosie and the Bearwoman?
It's a interesting story ending with more questions!

The Lumberjanes story world gets built more in this book. There are more revelations about characters who haven't spent as much time in the forefront. The history of the Lumberjanes world of the woods where the camp is becomes more complex. There is a question of time in this volume and some dark hints as to what the Lumberjanes are being trained for. Looking forward to volume 5.
Missed these gals :D also it's my fist finished #thereadingrush read
The little peak of lumberjane history was great and I can't wait for more
Another graphic novel and I have to say that this volume was probably the best one I have read of all of them so far. I love this series and the adventures of the LumberJanes. I love the illustrations and the characters. There is so much fun captured in each of these and I am so glad that I picked this up! I really loved this volume.
I'm liking how the plot is finally making a turn. The mystery of the Lumberjanes is slowly beginning to unravel and I can't wait to figure out what the 'truth behind the Lumberjanes' is. Are they the protectors of the forest? Of a magic they didn't even know existed? I must know! I still love the diversity of the characters and the illustrations. At volume 4 I still wish I could have been a scout of some sort to learn these different 'scouty' things.
