Cute as usual! I love the idea of "the real thing the lumberjanes are being trained for" rather than them just being a Girl Scout-like camp they may have a greater, more fantastic purpose.

I'll continue reading this series!

Lumberjanes are good for what ails you. And I super liked that this one delved a little into the history of the camp and, as per usual, I do love how affectionate and genuine the characters are with each other. Friendship to the max, indeed.

Such a beacon of light, always.

I liked this issue because we learn more about the camp in the past as well as how it works with the rest of the world. The story is picking up pace now.

This was everything I was hoping/expecting this volume to be. After the first story arc wrapped up in vol 2, we got a short single-volume adventure that did not contribute to a larger arc. I am happy to say that volume 4 returns to tease another larger arc adventure that also looks to expand more on the history of the camp director. My fingers are crossed for some interesting lore in the next few volumes.

As far as the wackiness from volume 1, the characters have become a bit more subdued. While still a little more out there, we are seeing their roles develop a bit more. This is a familiar pattern for me and not unlike watching a cartoon series aimed at kids. In the first few episodes, everything is set to 11 for weird but then a couple of episodes in and the appeal starts to come really shine through.

I am not sure where the series will take me, but it seems guaranteed that I am going to develop a couple of new ships along the way.

Pure brilliance! Where can I find a felow fan to fan with?

(read as single issues)

OK I loved everything about Rosie and the Bear Woman, etc. I know this isn't actually published yet but it seems weird that this vol would only collect 13-16? That's not the whole bear woman arc? and it doesn't seem like a very long book? hmmm

I’m loving making my way through this series, they’re such fun and cute reads. One aspect of this that I really enjoyed was the flashbacks between Abigail and Rosie as it showed us what the Lumberjanes used to be like. Once again one of my favourite aspects of this graphic novel and this series, in general, is the friendships between all of the girls and I loved that this volume focused on their relationship with Jen. Also, I absolutely love Jen’s character and I hope that in future volumes we get to explore her character more. I also thoroughly enjoyed the ending of this and how ominous it was, I definitely want to know more about all of the supernatural things going on.

Overall this was a fun YA Graphic Novel with incredible characters, an intriguing plot that will keep you guessing, and gorgeous illustrations.
