Oooh this one was interesting, I feel like we are slowly but surely getting hints about what is happening. Don't get me wrong, it's still mostly a lot of mayhem and fun times, but there were a few sprinkles throughout that will be important as the series progresses. Definitely looking forward to carrying it on.

I like this better than the least one because at least I feel like we're getting somewhere? And the art style is growing on me more, although I still miss Noelle Stevenson's artwork. I also love that Jen got some character development.
The art style is back on track, yay! I liked this one well enough, but the plot was kind of uneven. The flashbacks gave us some interesting history, but I found the broad strokes fairly predictable, and the conflict a little flimsy (Abigail went all rogue/obsessed because she had to sleep outside for one night? Really? ). On the other hand, I liked the secondary conflict between Jo and Barney, and the revelatory resolution was nothing short of heartwarming. Overall, a solid entry.
