"The Adventure of the Noble Bachelor" is the tenth story in the [b:The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes|3590|The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes|Arthur Conan Doyle|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1164045516s/3590.jpg|1222101] story collection, the third publication in the Sherlock Holmes series (after the first two novels, so the first story collection).

Holmes is hired by a man whose brand new wife disappeared mysteriously mere hours after their wedding ceremony.

Not one of my favourites from this collection, but still a good and interesting story.

not quite as good as the previous stories. i just felt that the characters and mystery fell a bit flat. however, i did enjoy the ending.

Poor Lord St. Simon! I do feel bad for him, but I am once again amazed by Sherlock's capacity to solve the case so easily and on such short notice.

The story isn't really exciting but surely interesting!
