It makes me so sad that authors are writing rape and Sexual assault stories under the name of “Dark” romance. Trying to make rape sounds less horrible by saying non-con is disgusting. Romanticising rape and saying that the victim wanted it but didn’t want to admit it is horrible.
And I don’t care that the author wrote it in the trigger warnings!!! That doesn’t make it right or acceptable.
If you killed someone and then admitted that you killed them it doesn’t make you innocent..

Killian was too much for me a year ago, but I am willing to give him redemption. This is our second chance romance story.
Overall thoughts. Killian is still crazy. Glyndon is still boring. Feminism is out the window whenever I read RK’s work.
Horrible.
Only through sheer will did I finish the book.

I did really enjoy the book. But for me the start was a bit slow.
3,5 stars doesn’t do justice to the book, but because of the slow start I also don’t want to give it 4.
The spice is nice. Most of the book has no consent though. If you are looking for that I wouldn’t recommend this book.
