I did really enjoy the book. But for me the start was a bit slow.
3,5 stars doesn’t do justice to the book, but because of the slow start I also don’t want to give it 4.
The spice is nice. Most of the book has no consent though. If you are looking for that I wouldn’t recommend this book.

This is the first “dark romance” I’ve actually enjoyed. I tried others and DNF all of them. But this one actually had me hooked. I think the characters are fleshed out well.  I really enjoyed the pacing. I like the way Rina writes and found myself flying through it. I also love how it set up a lot of the other romances in it as well.  I listened to the audio (easier for me to process when I listen) and I loved the narrations. I do wish this was a duet like God of Fury is. But I didn’t hate when the male character spoke for the female character in his pov and visa versa.

I started it, read the first chapter maybe and then I was shocked I was like there's no way in hell I am gonna read a book like this (yes I'm aware that this is a dark book and I like reading them but there are a few things that I just could not handle) and then I put it down that read the second on (my favorite) and then the third one and somehow I ended up reading it this one too. Don't ask:) Anyway, for me this is really similar to the third one, well basically the third one is similar to his one, but whatever. It started to be good after a while but I don't know I just didn't feel the connection. Still a good one.
