I've been anticipating reading this book since so long and now that this is here, I am gonna devour it. As far as the trigger warnings go, please check it once before reading this book. You might not know what things you are gonna get yourself acquainted with. A bully romance with rival universities..what else do you need for the book to be best?

Killian Carson, the main character of God of Malice is a true psychopath, not a make-believe, nor a bad boy who’s eventually tamed. He’s a villain with very questionable actions, so if you can’t handle morally black characters, please do NOT proceed. Bloody hell, his deep baritone is sensually awakening and he has a way with his words.

Glyndon...she is really going through some stuff and when Killian more likely a stranger to her comes and saves her at the middle of the night, and demands for something in return of saving her, that just baffles her and then there again is his filthy mouth asking for things he shouldn't

Boy was this a rollercoaster!!! Killian was just wow. At first I don’t know how I was going to like him until I got him all figured out. Glyndon appeared weak at first but little by little she was coming out of her shell thanks to Killian. They were night and day but made so much damn sense. She had a brother with similar disconnect to Killian so she kind of knew how to deal with his level of crazy. Killian didn’t know how to show emotion only with Glyndon. They both brought out different sides in each other that was very rarely seen. He protected her at all cost and wasn’t afraid of anyone. This was a great start to a new series and I can’t wait to read on all the others. It should be a fun ride!!

I’m going to preface this by saying I am really only reading the other books in this series for more background about Bran and Niko. I can’t move on from God of Fury and I wanted to get their entire history.

I tried to read God of Malice maybe 20 times before I finally got through the first few chapters. I really was not vibing with Killian at first, not even from God of Fury. I also almost didn’t read GoF because I tried reading GoM first and initially DNF’d, so I was a little petty towards Kill and Glyn.

I still maintain that it’s not one of my favorite stories, but they did grow on me. There were quite a few times Killian had me giggling and kicking my feet. But I still don’t fully vibe with their meeting and the first few times they were together sexually. Bran told Grace to stop, and Glyn also very clearly told Kill the same. But I digress. Also Glyndon drove me nuts like 75% of this book, but she also drove me nuts in GoF so I wasn’t surprised.

Besides Nikolai and Brandon, a special shoutout to the other star of this book: Gareth. If he doesn’t get at least a novella, there will be tears and murder plots. I love him so much.

Overall, this book was just okay. I got the background I wanted and had some fun doing it. I don’t have much hope for Creighton and Annika’s story but we shall see…

I’m not rating this audio book because I did not finish it. The female narrator was just annoying to me and I just couldn’t finish it. I am going to try and read the actual book sometime in the future.

“By the way, I like the sound of my name on your lips.”
“Then you won’t be hearing it anymore.”

This book had me gasping like a fish. The first 30% was really slow for me, not a lot went on but so much went on. We got introduced to so many characters in a short amount of time I had trouble wrapping my head around them all, but after I carried on after I was so close to DNFing it, plot picked up and I was hooked. The found family relationship with all of the characters was so sweet and sappy and I loved it even if they did always threaten to kill each other I was smiling like an idiot. Killian and Glyndon now are tucked in my heart with my other favourite book couples. Also the plot TWIST?! I never saw that coming. Can’t wait for God of Fury since I love love Niko and Brandon with my whole heart!!
